The Marshall County Home Builders Association held a membership meeting Thursday, May 24 at the Marshall County Technical School, to award scholarships from the Marshall County Home Builders Association and the Alabama Home Builders Foundation.

The Marshall County Home Builder's Association will again this year be awarding scholarships to area students. The scholarships are provided for advanced study at recognized institutions of higher learning in an applicant's chosen field to increase his/her ability and earning potential thereby elevating the standards for individuals in the home-building industry.
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of Marshall County, Alabama - Applicant must be a high school senior, graduate or equivalent - Applicant must have taken the ACT or SAT test for entering college, and have sufficient score to permit entry in the college, business school or technical school if such a score is required for entry. - Applicant must be in need of financial assistance, which must be clearly indicated on the application.
