Smiling faces depict the excitement on the faces of the winners at the Marshall County Home Builder’s Association annual draw down. The event was held in conjunction with the Association’s Christmas party as well a silent auction and installation of officers for 2007. MCHBA President, Darryl Cox reported record numbers in attendance for the evening. A night of fun, great food, fantastic prizes and entertainment keep the function intriguing as each year approaches. “We have almost outgrown the current facility in which we host the party. Our committee is searching for a larger place for next year in order to expand the silent auction and provide more seating” said Cox.

MCHBA added the silent auction in 2005 and the number of items more than doubled this year. The proceeds from the silent auction have been designated to the building fund and the money raised from the draw down will benefit the MCHBA Kenneth Warren Memorial Scholarship Fund.
